David Gaffney B.A., Dip L.S., CIP, ACIArb graduated with a B.A. Degree from University College Cork, subsequently obtained a Diploma in Legal Studies from the Dublin Institute of Technology and achieved the qualification of Certified Insurance Practitioner from the Insurance Institute of Ireland.

David gained litigation experience in O'Flynn Exhams before joining the legal expenses insurance company, DAS Group, as a legal advisor where he was responsible for the provision of employment and commercial legal advice to a large and varied client base both domestic, and muti-nationals. David was admitted as a solicitor in 2006. He subsequently joined L.K. Shields, Solicitors and joined us in 2007.

He is a well known practitioner in Employment law and has written and lectured extensively, and is an ongoing contributor to various web-based research programmes and professional periodicals. David regularly represents both employees and employers before Rights Commissioners, the Labour Court, the Employment Appeals Tribunal, the Equality Tribunal and the civil courts.
